What is My Mirroring?
My Mirroring creates custom replica engagement rings and jewelry inspired by your original piece. Our replicas are designed for travel, work, and everyday peace of mind, allowing you to protect your real fine jewelry. Each piece is custom made one-on-one, from CAD design through final setting.
What does the price include?
The price includes a custom CAD (3D) rendering of your ring, multiple CAD revisions until approved, full fabrication of your finished ring, and quality inspection before shipping. Once the CAD is approved, production begins.
Materials & Options
What materials do you offer?
We offer replicas using Cubic Zirconia (CZ), Moissanite, Colored Moissanite, Lab-grown diamonds (optional upgrade), and lab or natural gemstones. All rings are made in 925 Sterling Silver, with optional white, yellow, or rose gold plating, using REACH-compliant, nickel-free standards.
What does '3-micron gold plating' mean?
All gold-plated pieces use 925 Sterling Silver as the base metal and are finished with 3 microns of white, yellow, or rose gold plating. 3 microns is considered thick plating for replica and travel jewelry and offers enhanced durability when properly cared for. Gold plating is not permanent and will naturally wear over time depending on frequency of wear, exposure to water, sweat, lotions, and chemicals, and individual skin chemistry.
Do you offer ring + band sets?
Yes. We offer CZ Ring + Band Set, Moissanite Ring + Band Set, and Color Stone Ring + Band Set. Each set includes an engagement ring and matching band, crafted in 925 Sterling Silver with 3-micron gold plating.
The Process
Do I need to send my original ring?
No. We never require your original jewelry. Your replica is created based entirely on photos you provide, measurements (if available), and ring size and design details. This ensures your original ring stays safe with you.
What is a CAD rendering?
A CAD is a computer-generated 3D design showing the exact structure, proportions, and measurements of your ring. All dimensions are real and shown in millimeters. Prongs appear longer in CAD and are shortened during stone setting. Your final ring is made exactly as shown in the approved CAD.
Can I make changes to the design?
Yes — during the CAD stage only. You may request adjustments until you approve the CAD. Once the CAD is approved, production begins immediately, changes cannot be made, and refunds are not offered (custom work).
How long does the process take?
Production begins after CAD approval. CAD design + revisions varies by project. Production takes approximately 2–4 weeks. Some designs may take slightly longer due to the handmade process. We prioritize accuracy and craftsmanship over rushing production.
Expectations & Quality
Will my replica be an exact 1:1 copy?
No. Your Mirroring piece is a travel-safe inspired replica, not a fine-jewelry exact duplicate. Because we work from photos and materials differ from solid gold and natural diamonds, some differences may occur in weight, metal hardness, light reflection, and stone behavior. The more details you provide, the closer we can mirror your original ring.
Is this fine jewelry?
No. My Mirroring pieces are not fine jewelry replacements. They are replica / travel rings made in sterling silver with simulated or lab stones. They are designed for travel, honeymoons, work, daily wear, and protecting your original ring.
Care & Policies
How should I care for my ring?
Remove before sleeping, showering, exercising, or swimming. Avoid lotions, perfumes, sanitizers, and chemicals. Store in a jewelry box or soft pouch. Wipe gently with a microfiber cloth after wear. Do not use jewelry cleaners or silver dips.
What about skin sensitivity or green discoloration?
Gold-plated jewelry may contain trace elements such as copper. In rare cases, individuals with sensitive or acidic skin may experience mild oxidation or discoloration. This is not a defect. If you've experienced sensitivity before, consider choosing sterling silver (no plating), limiting wear time, or avoiding moisture and chemicals.
Can I return my order?
Because each piece is custom made, all sales are final. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us on the day of delivery so we can assist.
Can you replicate branded or designer jewelry?
We respect intellectual property laws and do not replicate protected, branded or designer jewelry. Our service is intended to mirror personal, unbranded pieces. If you're unsure whether your piece qualifies, please contact us before ordering.

1. How long does it take to receive my Mirroring?
Our process typically takes between 2-6 weeks, depending on the
complexity of the design and craftsmanship required.
2. Can I make changes after I approve the design?
You can request adjustments during the rendering stage. Once we receive
your approval for casting, any changes requested there after may incur additional fees. We encourage you to be as detailed as possible before approving designs.
3. What materials are used in my Mirroring?
At Mirroring, we use only the finest materials to ensure your Mirroring reflects the elegance and quality of your original piece.
The most common materials used are gold plated silver and solid gold. For stones we use simulated diamonds and gems. Please let us know if there is a specific material you prefer.
Your Mirroring piece is a travel-safe replica, not a fine-jewelry duplicate. Because replicas are made from silver with gold plating and CZ/Moissanite/lab stones, the feel, weight, and material hardness will naturally differ from real diamonds and solid gold.
We always aim to match your original ring as closely as possible, but achieving a perfect one-to-one duplicate from photos alone isn’t always realistic. Every detail we can see or confirm helps us get closer.

4. Is my original jewelry required for the process?
No, we do not require your original jewelry. We create Mirrorings based on photos and details provided by you, ensuring your original piece stays safe and secure with you.
5. Do you only create Mirrorings for engagement rings, or can I request other types of jewelry?
No, we create a wide variety of jewelry beyond engagement rings. At Mirroring, we can create replicas for necklaces, earrings, bracelets, other types of rings, and more. If you have a cherished piece you’d like replicated, simply reach out, and we’ll be happy to assist with your request.
6. Can I return my order if I'm not satisfied?
Since each piece is custom-made specifically for you, we do not accept returns. However, your satisfaction is our priority. If you experience any issues with your Mirroring, please contact us, and we will work closely with you to resolve any concerns to ensure you’re completely satisfied with your piece.
7. Can you replicate branded or designer jewelry?
Mirroring respects intellectual property laws, including trademark, copyright, and patent protections, and therefore, we do not replicate branded or designer jewelry that is protected by these laws. Our custom replicas are intended to mirror personal pieces without infringing on existing intellectual property rights.
